1. How does it work?
Our telephone counselling program works in much the same manner
as our individual anger management counselling program at our locations.
The one difference is that the counselling sessions are conducted
over the telephone and not in the office.
2. What is covered in the sessions?
All the material covered in the counselling sessions is the same
as the material covered in the face to face counselling program.
The first appointment consists of the Assessment. This will assist
in determining the Counselling Plan. Subsequent appointments address
all components of the program in addition to any specific issues
identified in the Assessment.
3. Do I receive handouts or any materials given out in the face-to-face
program?
All handouts will be emailed and/or mailed to you prior to each
session. That way you will have it ready for discussion at the beginning
of the next session.
4. How are appointments scheduled?
Clients arrange with their Counsellor a mutually agreed upon scheduled
time to conduct their appointments each week. At that time, the
client initiates the telephone call (the client is responsible for
any long distance telephone charges). The telephone sessions are
one hour in length just the same as in person.
5. How am I billed for the session?
All telephone sessions are paid for prior to the session starting
time. We accept cash, VISA, Mastercard, cheque or Debit card.
6. How much do the sessions cost?
The Assessment appointment is one hour in length and billed at
$125 (includes GST) in Canadian Dollars.
Subsequent appointments are scheduled for the day or evening times
and are billed at the same rate.
7. What if I can't make a telephone appointment?
If you need to re-schedule or cancel an appointment, you can do
so as long as we know 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be
billed for the session.
